SUMMARY:Engaging "Local" Communities: LTER Community Call
DESCRIPTION:Authentic engagement requires significant effort to build relat
 ionships. But how can a site intentionally choose where and how to invest 
 that effort? In partnership with Luquillo\, Hubbard Brook\, and Virginia C
 oast Reserve LTER sites\, the APEAL Project held community conversations
  and developed site-level community engagement plans\, helping to identify
  local partners\, common goals\, and opportunities for reciprocal connect
 ion. Please join us to learn about the process\, what we’ve learned\, a
 nd how the sites are planning to move forward.\n\n------------------------

 opportunity to hold seminars\, discussions\, and learning opportunities of
  relevance to the broad LTER research community. These may include researc
