DESCRIPTION:The Network Orientation Call provides an orientation to the sit
 es\, science\, and structure of the LTER Network as well as ways to connec
 t with colleagues and get involved. It is most appropriate for investigato
 rs\, students\, and staff who are new to the network\, including RETS and 
 REUs\, but all are welcome.\n\n\n\nThe LTER monthly community call provide
 s an opportunity to hold seminars\, discussions\, and learning opportuniti
 es of relevance to the broad LTER research community. These may include re
 search seminars\, discussions of emerging projects and methods\, or the oc
 casional organizational update.
