The LTER Information Managers meet annually to discuss current challenges and opportunities facing the information management community. For 2025, that meeting will take place online September 8 and 9 from 10 am PT to 1 pm PT (1-4 pm ET).
The 2025 Agenda includes:
- Elections for the IM Executive Team
- Updates from the LTER Network Office and the Environmental Data Initiative Repository
- Discussion of a new LTER Strategic Plan
- Updates to best practices for non-tabular data
- Short presentations on AI tools and other current topics of interest
- Techniques for generating EML
- Discussion of the evolving roles of information managers
Plus, of course, some time to get to know your colleagues.
