The Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position (9 month, 1.0 FTE) in Forest Carbon Cycle Science. We welcome applicants with diverse areas of research expertise, including biogeosciences, earth system science, biometeorology, ecological modeling, ecosystem ecology, socio-ecological systems and global change, who are conducting research within the broad context of carbon cycle science of forest ecosystems. Interdisciplinary collaborations with faculty in the College of Forestry and other departments across campus are expected, as is a demonstrated potential for nationally and internationally recognized scholarship.
