Opportunity Type: Undergraduate
NEON (National Ecological Observatory Network) is looking for qualified students for next summer’s Undergraduate Internship Program (http://www.neoninc.org/learn-experience/internships). NEON’s internship program is designed to provide science, engineering, and computer science undergraduates with real-world work experience in their chosen field, and promote future success through mentoring, leadership training, and career exploration activities. NEON interns are involved with a variety of projects – from development of sensor calibration processes and airborne data collection analysis tools to data analyses. Up to six interns will be supported in 2015 – see our Opportunities page for details. The application deadline is February 16, 2015.
The NEON Undergraduate Internship Program NEON is committed to helping prepare future STEM professionals and to broadening participation of students from traditionally under-represented groups in science, engineering and computing fields.
Please consider joining NEON for the summer and helping build the observatory from the ground up.
