The Cedar Creek LTER seeks a full-time research scientist. Their main responsibility is to perform high-impact ecological research at Cedar Creek in partnership with Cedar Creek’s Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) team of faculty, post-doc and graduate student researchers. The research skills of this individual must allow the individual to add new dimensions to the existing LTER work at Cedar Creek. The individual should have demonstrated ability to publish research results in major journals. In addition, this person would coordinate the review of all proposals for new research at Cedar Creek and would help plan, implement and likely lead Cedar Creek efforts at ecosystem management and preservation, including a revised prescribed burning program to restore and maintain oak savannas.
