The Division of Biology at Kansas State University invites applications for Director of the Konza Prairie Biological Station, a tenured, 12-month appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level. The position is approximately 50% station administration and leadership, 25% research, and 25% teaching, with an anticipated start date in summer or early fall 2027. The Director will lead one of the world’s premier grassland field stations; develop long-term plans, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives; oversee personnel and budgets; maintain collaborations with the Konza Prairie LTER program, The Nature Conservancy, and the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station; sustain an internationally recognized research program; and contribute to university teaching. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent, have an established record of research productivity, and demonstrate experience managing personnel and budgets in ecological research.
