Announcing new themed collection in Cambridge Prisms-Drylands focused on North American drylands (Collection Link).
The Collection will showcase research from North American drylands, including local research and papers framing regional findings within a global context. We welcome interdisciplinary contributions that advance understanding across scales, from organisms and soil processes to landscapes, communities, institutions, and policy.
Contributions may focus on, but are not limited to:
- Ecology, biodiversity, and vegetation change
- Biological soil crusts, small and large herbivore and consumer dynamics
- Hydrology, soils, geomorphology, dust, fire, and other dryland physical processes
- Climate variability and change, monitoring, remote sensing, and modeling
- Rangelands, dryland agriculture, restoration, conservation, and land-use legacies
- Social-ecological systems, including Indigenous stewardship, governance, environmental justice, water, energy, and urbanization
The Collection welcomes research articles, review articles, perspectives, case studies, and rapid communications.
