The field guide provides a more complete context for federal data users and stakeholders that will inspire them to consider a broader range of data types in their research and advocacy. It is organized into eight categories of federal data (statistical, administrative, geospatial, scientific, accountability, evaluation, navigation, and reference data) and provides context, methods, policy frameworks and use cases for each.
