Broadening Participation Committee Retreat

The LTER Network’s Broadening Participation Committee would like to invite colleagues from across the network to join us for a virtual workshop exploring how LTER sites are pursuing BP activities, their successes and struggles, and how the BPC can leverage these lessons in our committee efforts over the coming year. We will also hear from individual sites about how they responded to the results of the first network-wide climate survey, and discuss these actions or changes were met and what best practices (or their opposite) sites have found in the process. If you are a member of your site’s BP Committee or its equivalent, or if this work is simply something that you enjoy engaging with and would like to join a community of like-minded folks across the network when doing so, we welcome you to register and join us for two four-hour workshops on December 15 and 16 from noon – 4pm ET (9am – 1pm PT)
