The LTER Interactive Cartographic Atlas is a tool to generate images of sites in the LTER Network against various backdrops. The tool was created by Jamie Hollingsworth of Bonanza Creek with support from the LNO. Images can be saved and used in presentations and publications (with attribution to Jamie). Because of the wide range of backdrops, we can now generate fresh, relevant images on demand.
The tool consists of two very large PDF files. Because of the size of these files, you are better off downloading them to your own machines and using them locally. The Reference Guide explains how to do that. As always, comments and suggestions are welcome. This document is 166 Mb and should be viewed with Adobe (Reader or Acrobat) 9 or greater. It wil not work in browser plug-ins.
