CCAL is seeking a full-time chemist to work in its established water quality lab on the campus of Oregon State University. Since 1970s, the Cooperative Chemical Analytical Lab (CCAL) has provided reliable and accurate trace level analyses of nutrients, ions and physical properties of natural waters for university faculty, agency researchers, natural resource managers, and drinking water providers.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing analytical chemistry procedures, a willingness to learn and follow specific techniques, experience with quality assurance principles and quality control, strong organizational skills, good communication skills, a robust work ethic, commitment to diversity and attention to lab and analytical safety principles.
