The National Science Foundation’s online video magazine, “Science Nation,” has released a short video featuring long term research by scientists at the Harvard Forest (HFR) Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) program to determine how the forest responds to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Science Nation is commissioned by the NSF Office of Legislative and Public Affairs and is distributed throughout the world to various media outlets on the internet, the PBS Newshour website, local community TV stations in the U.S. via CMDN.tv, the NSF STEM video portal Science360 – The Knowledge Network, Voice of America for international broadcast distribution, and to K-12 content producers in the U.S. and abroad. Some episodes also appear in the nationally-distributed PBS documentary series This American Land.
